Meet Lynn Walker

    Lynn was born and grew up in Beautiful East Tennessee. His career in advertising began as a sales rep for a travel publication on the coast of Georgia a couple of years after college.

    In the late 1980's, after a move from Atlanta, Ga. to the laid-back (at the time) Florida panhandle town of Destin, he founded two tourist publications. With the snow-white sand and emerald blue-green water for inspiration. The Guide to Destin and Fort Walton Beach plus The Guide to Panama City Beach were developed.

    The most beautiful beaches in America weren't enough to hold him and after selling the Guides he went back to Tennessee. In 1992 Lynn began what has now become a 30+ year adventure---Recommendations.

    He created this growing advertising business first as a unique Hotel Display/tent card system to help Hotels and their Guests. By the year 2000 Recommendations displays were in 250 Hotels in a four-state region. The display business is currently in East Tennessee, Upstate South Carolina and North Georgia. Logo Locator Maps were created at about the same time and Lynn still produces them for East Tennessee and North Georgia.

    In 1999, Lynn started playing golf and yes it became an addiction. Wanting to be involved in the golf industry, Lynn created Southeastern Golf Directories in 2006. His desire is to promote golf and businesses that are involved in the industry whether it be an individual golf course, a major golf resort, a golf retailer or golf package company ... Southeastern Golf Directories was born. 

    For 17 years now we have reached millions of golfers in the United States and beyond.
